Vatsalayam is a home for mentally challenged students who have been spurned by the society. Vatsalyam is school for Special Children with varying disabilities, this school was established in the year 2010 at Thiruvithengode, Nagercoil. In last decade and half, Seva Bharathi Dakshin (Then) Tamil Nadu have positively impacted many life's in this area through its dedicated services.
Residential accommodation for special children is crucial for providing them with a structured, safe, and supportive environment tailored to their individual needs. It ensures that they receive the specialized care, education, and therapeutic support necessary for their development and well-being, while also offering relief and support to families. Residential care ensures that each individual receives tailored support based on their unique needs. Personalized care plans are developed to address specific requirements, promoting individual growth and development. The dedicated staff pay close attention to the needs of each resident, which fosters a meaningful relationship and a compassionate and nurturing environment.

Thus, for the above reasons, we have identified and sourced land for these Residential Academy in Coimbatore and Nagapatinam. We have partnered with NIMHANS, Bangalore, who will be our knowledge partners for these projects.
The projects in Coimbatore is named as Varadaraja Vatsalayam and in Nagapattinam is named as Nilayathakshi Vatsalayam. Estimated capital cost for these projects in phase one is around Rs. 9 crores.

ARANYA NIVAS

Modelled on the success of Various destitute homes as a foster home for underprivileged children from all creeds of society, the home provides for free boarding and lodging for boys, from where they are encouraged to complete their education, take-up life skills or higher education and transform themselves as responsible and responsive citizens of society.
Aranya Vilas is a similar effort for members of the tribal community of Gudalur who live by the trials and tribulations of living a life that challenges their very existence. Aranya Vilas proposes to be a model home for support of tribal children and aims to develop infrastructure to support 80 such children with a focus on their socio-cultural-economic elevation and their integration into mainstream society.

The success of our destitute homes has encouraged, Sevabharathi to emulate such centre 's across the Then Tamil Nadu region of its operations. Much alike facility will cater to underprivileged children without discrimination of creed to ensure that they are provided the opportunity for a life of dignity that will eventually seem them as educated, responsible and responsive citizens of society.
